One hundred days of gratitude

This is a game I’d like to play – to write about gratitude every day for 100 days. So here's a blog.
This was inspired by three things:
  • My lovely friend Kate’s recent talk on gratitude
  • My fabulous sister Sarah’s achievement of writing one sestina a day for 100 days (http://sarahsestina.wordpress.com)
  • My experience of how transformational an active gratitude practice can be.

It also has three aims:
  • To explore what gratitude means to me personally by having a proper old dig around in it
  • To engage in a regular practice of both gratitude and writing by writing about gratitude every day for one hundred days*
  • To connect with other grateful people.

* A full-length blog post every day would be a full time job, so I commit to writing one full-length, article-style blog post once a week or more and a daily post of a length that pleases me.
The content doesn’t aim to be correct, empirically true or in any way wise, and it certainly can’t claim to be original. It will be a little dance. Sometimes, it will be ugly.
Thanks for reading it.
