Day 251: Laa laa laaaaaa. Beehh

Scientific instrument shop
Trains, teens and nothing else that begins with t. That's what my day has been full of. I been dahn Kent for The Challenge. A bunch of teenagers all doing the sports strand. The person teaching the sports strand, a football coach from a big club, still pretty young, very good, had been told she was coming here the night before after a colleague dropped out. I was going to observe the drama session, but we thought it was better that I get on in and support her in whatever she was doing.

I like what Emily said about the purpose of coaching. Are you coaching to get the best out of someone and really find out what it is that they want, why they want it, how they can let the ways of achieving it reveal themselves... or are you coaching so you feel like a good coach? Are you coaching so you get that hit when someone feels good? There were moments of both for me today. The former is the most useful.

Disproportionate ears - almost embarrassing
I got to have impromptu chats with people I didn't expect to get through to, and didn't get through to people I expected to be speaking to. Lovely chats with Sarah Lonton and Delicious Beec. Thankeem.

Awesome Goatsong rehearsal. Just perfect, it was. Lots of laughing, playing, getting back in touch, talking, eating wonderful food (good god, Stroid knows how to cook!) and all wrapped up with this, a tiny post, full of goodwill and happy sleep hormones.
