Day 253: Angels and Parrots

Action branding
Oh, the holiday village I'm staying at in Australia is being very helpful indeed. Well, not the village itself. Lisa, to be precise. She asked if cycling would be my main mode of transport, and warned me that if visiting theme parks was my plan, it'd be a mighty trek on dangerous roads, and not to risk it.

Best expression ever (on the caterpillar)
Reassured by my telling her what I AM going to do, she's now told me about a back gate to make my trip to the posho resort quicker. She's also made it so that if I don't find a suitable person to share with, I can downsize to a smaller cabin just for me. I shall decide that tomorrow. Very exciting, though. And very kind. Thank you, Lisa. Already, you are making me feel welcome.

Like this, only tackier
Lovely meeting with a lovely man today, the elusive Mr Callaway, who has been trying to employ me for a while - to no avail until this point, but not for want of trying. Thank you for coffee, interesting chat, serendipitous goodness involving improvisation and accountancy, puppets, masks and business cards. Oh, and dates for the calendar in October and November. Yes please. Thank you.

A nice dose of Ruth. A pack and a first delivery, plus high hopes for further ease on the moving front. I'm hoping to be able to release Simon from his promise of car help.

And I have angel wings on my arse. This is very pleasing. Oh, and it reminds me that today, I saw a man on a bike with a pointy bag which made him look like he had wings sticking up over his shoulders. Oh yes.
