Today, I experienced the phenomenon of Korean rap. I was blown away. Fascinating.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TmNo8B3CD44
Click on this and listen at least as far as minute 1.57 and onwards. Bugger me, that's some speedy rapping!
Last week, I had the best time ever doing that job. This week, I get to do something totally new tomorrow, and the almost-last installment of the job I've been on since April. It's exciting. I'm feeling a bit disconnected from some good friends, so I'm looking forward to making time for them now I'm back in London for a bit.
I'm a little bit afraid of next week. I have NOTHING in the diary. Not. A. Thing. I want to find it an outstanding opportunity but already the dread is setting in. Long bits of unstructured time. I must focus on what I'd like instead: a meaty writing job, please, and a last-minute, seat-of-pants assignment in Berlin or Paris, maybe Stuttgart or Hamburg. Something juicy and rewarding, where I get to play, and nice people to do it with. Not 'do it'. I'm not 14. More and more, things that don't take shape as planned are turning out to be wonderful. Like the workshop that didn't happen, and the phone message I didn't get, left very thoughtfully the day before, to save me any trouble. Because I didn't see it (I think I know what happened), I managed to get to The Hub just after ten. There was no need, but I suppose the extra weight on the bike will have given me a better workout, and it was fabulous to be in the office for a bit with nobody there, and then with just two.

I had the serendipitous pleasure of Kati Schweitzer on Skype and it was lovely. Then I went up to Ruth's, caught up, ate omelette and went to a violin and piano concert at a local church. What a treat. The concert was very good and I got to see lovely Marghie too.
I am excited about the next phase. I am. I am.
I've been trying to find a picture of an animal that looks like it is about to be sick (but is trying not to). Not much luck. Can anyone help me? It'd be great if its eyes were watering a bit too. I know it's a big ask, but...
You punned! So proud! *beams*
