Day 515: Namaste. In Yer Face

I meeeseem Beectoreea Sandeesom
Yesterday, I had no credit on my Oyster card when I tried to get on the bus in Muswell Hill, running late for a meeting in town. The bus driver didn't speak, but just pointed at the newsagent behind me. I got off the bus, was second in the queue, topped up and went to wait for the next bus, but no... he was still there, smiling, door open. He'd waited the whole bus for me! I thanked him bigly... By the time I got off, I'd almost forgotten that had happened (it's a 5-minute bus ride). Luckily, I remembered... I waved at him on the way out and he gave me a regal, happy smile. Very nice indeed. Thank you!

And today - took me ages to leave the house again. When I did, I seemed to be bouncing (good calls this morning and this afternoon - telephonic rather than metaphorical). Men and women both smiled at me as I passed. I went into a shop to talk about a haircut. It was a bit too expensive. I'd decided I wanted to pay less. I was too busy for a haircut today, anyway. In talking to the lady, though, I discovered that she WOULD be willing to give me the haircut I wanted, whether or not it was 'in fashion'. She also, without prompting, gave me a £10 off voucher (and a £5 off referral voucher - who wants it?) and invited me to come and give massages on a community night they're running next week or the week after (I did prompt there). She also told me of a massage job going at the clinic round the corner. Ooh. Maybe I will!

AND today too, this:

Thank you to my sister for naming me on this. You've given me untold pleasure today.
Big love all round.
