I never get bored of a hotel room with a big, firm double bed and an ample bath. Thank you, Bristol King Street Premier Inn, for just that. Who needs panache when the bed is good? Who needs luxury when you're unconscious for most of the time you're in the room? I was so tired, I fell asleep sitting up (trying to type, first, then trying to meditate). So I gave up and went to sleep. I was rocking and nodding like a mad lady. That's hot yoga for you... Today's work was gentle and paced. We laughed a lot. I had another go on Lucy, who joined us for much of the day. I like how direct she is (like my beloved Pudding). I like how she cuts to the chase.
And thank you for courgettes. The courgette is a vegetable that can't be beaten. It's a delicate delight. It's a simple, reliable pleasure (especially steamed with ginger à la House of Lords). It's a zen vegetable. It is peaceful and pleasing. I am satisfied.
I have a very flat head. It's covered in a cowpat of henna. I finally found the powder I've been seeking out for such a long time (the copper henna with the lovely Indian lady on the packet) so even though it doesn't really need doing at the moment, I'm doing it. I have the henna patty, tin foil and a bright orange Sainsbury's carrier bag on my head. As soon as I'd set that up, I did yoga in the kitchen with the swami. I tried the headstand, which flattened the patty. When Ruth came home, we had a whole conversation before she asked why I had a Sainsbury's bag on my head. Classic!
Thank you, Loose Baker, for seeing this and thinking of me.

It's a fine study in just naming what's going on being enormously funny. And yes and... the girl goes with it. They both do. The guiding is great and well covered and the audience just loves it. As do I. Another little bit of joy. Thank you.
