Sleep.
I’m most grateful for things relating to sleep today. Happy that I managed to
get up more or less with my alarm and get out of the house in time to open up
The Hub before people got there.
I’m
grateful I didn’t fall asleep at work. As is often the way with these things, I
got busier and more productive as the day went on. I felt like I made more of a
difference. There were times when I was numbed in the brain, but it made me
very grateful that I don’t have a job that involves having to be somewhere
until a certain time every day. I’m fine with routine, but I like some
flexibility too. Clockwatching’s a killer, and I don’t normally have to do that
at all. Good people all day. Very good. And good food. I'm doing well with that. Well done me! Ah yes.
I've been loving this today: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y2BavhwpIJg I've always loved this song, but I don't remember ever actually watching any videos before. It's quite an experience. Especially this one, which is all 1970s and froomey. I watched one where they were much older first. His voice is harder, and his face. In this one, his mouth is soft and all shadowed up to look sexy like Jim Morrison. He's quite hot, in a very 70s kind of way.
I was
going to go and do a process with someone this evening, but I had a niggle in my belly. Not
sure why. Then I got a text saying why it would be useful for me to be
somewhere else, so I took that option instead. I was sorry to let the person
down, but it was the right thing, this time. Good to see Beectoreea Sandeesom,
Sally, Cristian, Kelly. All of them. Dosing up on Vic before she goes.
Now I’m in Bristol, safely, in my biggish room with my especially sought-out double bed (thanks, Bence, on reception). I shall sleep like a starfish and wake up fresh. Sleep.
