Gaaaohhhh!So long, no blog. I've missed it, and wonderful things have kept happening. My favourite unexpected joy was having an unsolicited salad prepared for me (tomato, mozzarella, basil and tear-jerkingly good salami).
I had really good meetings with really good people. Lots of them. Productive ones. Exciting ones. Juicy ones. I've been offered (and given) work all over the place. I've seen beloved friends in all kinds of contexts. I've enjoyed some outstanding dogs.
The pond is delicious. The pathway up to it is autumnal with early-falling horse chestnut leaves, but everything else is green and lush. The kingfisher showed up. Flitted. Did a water-skim and disappeared. There I was, all flaily and honoured in the water. I'm at work. Blogging is to happen at night. I just wanted to make contact. I've missed you.
PS - ooh... just seen the blog has 19999 hits. What a pleasing figure to catch.
