| Almost pumpkin time |
I mostly packed for moving tomorrow/Monday. That's what I mostly did. I meant to do some work, but I mostly didn't. I did get packed (though I realise I have omitted all underwear - this will have to change) and I sent some useful emails.
I realise that I urgently need both a reliable accountant and a brilliant business advisor/coach. I'd like someone who will really push me to develop further and to reach for the things I really, really want to do.
This afternoon, I bumbled on down to do the Eastpak Insider Trail (a Hidden City thingy) with a friend. We didn't make it past the first hurdle - finding where the game itself starts. That was mostly poor preparation on our part. Neither of us had sufficiently watched the video or taken adequate notes. I was quick to give up. I wasn't giving up, though. I was finding myself irritable because of this, and my intention was to have a nice time, so I decided either to do it on Thursday morning or to pass on the code to someone else (there are only a few codes and there's £5,000 up for grabs). So, if you're good at cryptic clues and don't mind running around London and could do it before Thursday and would be available on Sat 22nd to finish off if nobody finds the money, let me know. It could be amazing! I'm not free on 22nd, so unless I were to find it first time round, there's no chance.

There was a couple just down from where we were sitting who were really going for it. They remained clothed, but they may as well have been having sex. It was in no way secluded. It was on a big, open, visible bit of grass and totally in my eyeline. I wanted to tut. I felt a bit odd. It crossed my mind that an effective way to get them to move on might have been to shuffle a bit closer, stare and say "keep it up, I'm nearly there" or something equally appalling. I didn't.

Back for a dose of Australia with Ruth. I love that film. I love looking at both leads. Nicole Kidman is a little gift in it, and Hugh Jackman? Well. Yes. Please. If I may. And the film's like a cartoon or a comic strip. It's all coloured up to the eyeballs and highly stylised. The music is noticeable (not often the case with films - if you don't notice it, they've done the job well). It's a delight.
And now, look. Just look. It's not half past eleven yet. I'm stopping now. I will beat pumpkin time today. I absolutely will.
